The Mom Bod Series

“Mom Genes” disclaimer: watching your teen navigate their body image journey and sort through all the messages they receive about nutrition will be an extremely challenging parenting phase. We hear from so many Mom’s about how you feel torn between the internal dialogue in your head that tells you to watch your calories and the Mama bear that comes roaring out when you hear your teen start counting theirs.

In this episode we are tackling how to help your teen navigate all the confusing messages they will receive about nutrition and lifestyle choices as well as how to appropriately use the word “healthy” so you can guide your teen to food freedom with confidence. We bring on Nicole Cruz, RDN and expert in child and adolescent nutrition, about how she helps her teen clients and their parents find peace with food in the home and at school. Nicole encourages our awesome Mom listeners on how to guide their children to understand their bodily cues so they can have a confident relationship with food and their body.
