The Mom Bod Series

In this episode we explore how body positivity and your birth story can align in a beautiful way that supports your journey of trusting your body. We interview midwife Lindsey Meehleis about how she coaches moms to find body trust and harmony in her midwifery practice. Lindsey offers encouragement to Moms on healing their relationship with their body whether it’s due to diet culture messages or an unexpected birth experience and she gives tips on how to advocate for yourself at your providers office if weight concerns become a point in your visits. No matter the birth you had, the birth you hope to have, or your history of body insecurity - you can find that place of surrendering control of your expectations.
